26th Annual Parade of Homes Rolls Into Town
When the Board of Directors of the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association (FABA) decided to resurrect—after a two year hiatus—a Parade of Homes this fall, they optimistically hoped to attract eight participating builders or developers.
The energy and optimism within the local housing industry appears to be much stronger. FABA’s original estimate has swelled to 21 home and one sub-division entries in the 2011 Parade of Homes. It will be held in locations throughout the Fredericksburg Region, Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 1-2 and 8-9. The free event is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The homes are located throughout the Counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, Louisa and Orange, as well as the City of Fredericksburg. The show includes both furnished and unfurnished single family homes. Two townhomes and one community are also entered. Prices of the homes range from $156,900 to $747,495.
"This is a great time to buy a home. The prices are right and interest rates are among the lowest ever. You’ll never find so much value in homes as now," said FABA President Danna Middleton, President of The Charleston Company.
Come out and see what our builders have to offer in the latest technology and designs. We are certain you will find what you are looking for in your price range and location.
The Parade of Homes is a multi-location event scheduled for two weekends, so this will give you plenty of time to visit the location you desire in Fredericksburg and its surrounding areas. You can use the enclosed map to plan your route. We look forward to seeing you and your family during this event.
